The North London Rudolf Steiner School [NLRSS] is part of the ever growing international Steiner Waldorf Education movement, offering an alternative to main-stream education.  Since the first school was set up in 1907 there are now almost 900 schools worldwide and 1,500 early years centres. 

Steiner Education respects the essential nature of childhood and enables each child to develop the abilities and confidence needed for life, through an interdisciplinary and comprehensive curriculum.  The teaching methods, are based on a educational philosophy which places emphasis on the whole development of the child, including the child’s moral,  spiritual and physical well-being as well as academic progress.
